At the annual Virginia School Boards Association Student Art Competition, my student Sonali was awarded the second place ribbon! 18 School divisions were represented with a total of 54 works on display. Art Supervisor Mike Gettings said Sonali’s “Parrot” was a colorful standout. So thrilled for Sonali’s accomplishment. Her oil pastel blending techniques were done splendidly well.
